Our Story
Transforming Homes, Building Dreams
A women-owned interior design studio born from a passion for beautiful, accessible design.
Our Story
Started With a Simple Belief: Great Design Shouldn't Break the Bank
Dewan Interior Design was founded in 2015 by Nisha Dewan, a passionate interior designer who grew up in Kolkata watching families struggle to afford quality home interiors. She believed that beautiful, functional living spaces shouldn't be a luxury reserved for the wealthy.
Starting from a small home studio in Salt Lake City, Nisha and her team of all-women designers began transforming apartments one at a time. Word of mouth spread quickly — clients loved the combination of premium aesthetics, transparent pricing, and on-time delivery.
Today, Dewan Interior Design has completed over 80 projects across Kolkata, from compact studio apartments to sprawling family homes. We remain true to our founding mission: bringing professional, beautiful interior design within reach of every family.
